Upgrade from version 4.3.0 to 5.0.0 are not supported.
Please use a clean install.

Will future release support upgrades from 5.0? I understand 4.x & older won't because of the change in the base OS right?

Yes, because of the change of the base OS for the H5 Fling we do not support upgrade from previous releases.
We plan to support upgrade from 5.0.0 to future releases.
