Hi,
Here is a link for the vSphere.js Fling - https://flings.vmware.com/vsphere-sdk-for-javascript
But the changelog (last updated in 2016) says it's compatible with vsphere 6.5 and I want to use it with vsphere 7.x. will it work with current vSphere versions?
Even though there have been no new versions of the fling recently, it should work with the latest vSphere versions.
Hi,
For the macOS version it would be great if you updated it to Universal instead of Intel only,
I'm having a bit of trouble -- my vCenter talks on port 444 instead of the usual SSL port. When I try to add the vCenter server to the monitor I get "Please enter a valid IP or URL" if I append :444 to the url or IP and "cannot connect to host..." if I don't. I'm a one man support staff for a 40-host ESXI deployment and I need things like this to make my job do-able -- any suggestions?
Hi Robert,
Currently, it isn't possible to talk with a different port than 443, but it will be added in the future. Thank you for the feedback!
It should bee great if you can intergreat this with "Notifications" in macOS so when you get a error or warning you receive a notification and in the dock it should show a red dot or similar.
Hi,
Thank you for the comment! It does show notifications on macOS, and there is a red dot on the icon in the dock when you have an error or a warning, which you haven't seen.
Hi,
vSphere.js is available for the general public? if yes, how to download and set up for development.
