Hi IgorNik,
We are actively working on development of 1.1.0 which will include the corespersocket functionality. There is additional validation logic required to ensure the desired combination of cores and sockets is valid from an ESXi perspective. We hope to have the release completed in April but it is difficult to commit to a specific date since the team works on this outside of our regular job responsibilities. Would you be open to having a 1:1 discussion around your specific use case to ensure we are aligned?
Looking at this Fling, can we use this to enforce NO HOT ADD? Have a real issue with people not understanding what it actually does.
Hi Matt, Enabling/disabling Hot Add is not currently available but we will keep this in mind for future updates.
Hi Bob,
Switching disk modes is currently not supported; however, we will consider this on our future roadmap. Thanks for reaching out!
Hi,
When is the new release planned?
As I understand it correctly, it will be possible to change the value of "core per cpu"?
And there will be an opportunity through the PS cmdlet to change the value of CPU\MEM on several VMs?
Hi IgorNik, thanks for reaching out. We are having discussions this week regarding the next release and hope to know more soon.
Hi Steve,
When to expect a new release?
