I tried a RHEL6, with 2.6.32. Fio does not work. I give up.
Please, provide a full OVA.

Cheers!

Hi gera83,
I tested it under
unbuntu:~$ uname -a
Linux ubuntu 5.4.0-48-generic #52-Ubuntu SMP Thu Sep 10 10:58:49 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
sperf@ubuntu:~$ cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS \n \l

Sorry for the bugs you met. I'll fix it quickly.

Did you test this? I tried it. Failed. Could not get AMD host information.

I could not get in the ESX again.
It broke mi root user. Completely.

Back to IO analyzer.

It totally overwrites authorized_keys file with the VM key. Please, append guys!

Guys, just for confirmation.
Do i have to use a 2.6 kernel system?
With 3.0 or more, i get:
# ./fio --version
Illegal instruction
#

Even "IO analyzer" runs on a SLES 11, with 3.11 kernel.
Anything to say?

Anyone have a particular Linux build they are using to use this utility?

Hi Dan,
I didn't notice you are not a VMware employee. We'll make a new mac version maybe it will be helpful to you.

Thanks,

Good idea. I'll set up a public VM for VMware inside users.
