Sorry this should be -- Unable to make in centOS 8 is ioblazer compatible with centOS 8?
Why i am getting this error?
Initializing test...
ERROR: Cannot open '/mnt/dsk0/ioblazer.db' file. Last error = 2 (No such file or directory)
Hi Shivakumar, you are getting that error because probably there is no directory "dsk0" under "/mnt". When you are using IOblazer in "file" mode, you have to mount the filesystem from the disk you want to run the benchmark on under "/mnt/dsk0". Hope this helps
I got similar when tried on a windows box as well.
It will be great if you could send me the steps to use IOBlazer on a linux vm and windows vm.
TIA.
The instructions on how to use IOBlazer on Linux and Windows can be found in the README file that comes with the package. There are also a few examples in said file.
Hi,
I am getting an error:
Exception: ioblazer failed: -15
Does anybody knows what does the error code -15 stands for?
Thanks.
Have there been any developments in terms of why one might receive the -1.#IO message/error when trying to replay a workload? I've tried an awful lot of thing to get my traces to replay and I'm really struggling with it. The .db file is in place, is big enough and is pre-populated.
Hi Matt,
I'm not sure what development are you referring to. VSCSI trace reply has been working since IOBlazer was released a few years back. Could you please send me your trace so I can take a look at it?
Davide
Matt,
I'm going to send you an email and you can attach it to the reply.
Thanks,
Davide
