Okay fixed it. Found somewhere else that setting this to 1 allows Edge webview to install
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\InstallDefault
I think this is a very nice product for v1.0. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
Imager will build under the default location for VMs configured in Workstation or Player. In Workstation you can change this setting under Edit -> Preferences -> "Default location for virtual machines". In Player, edit the preferences.ini file under "C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Roaming\VMware" using a text editor, and add/change the "prefvmx.defaultVMPath" setting.
For example:
prefvmx.defaultVMPath = "D:\MyVMs"
I try this morning Create a Windows 11 Entreprise VM it works great but I have just one things. I need to logon my VM to answer to one question during Update OS with powershell you need to enter Y for update Nuget provider.
Thanks for reporting this. I was not able to reproduce your problem but found some information about a known bug in a Powershell cmdlet which we call which might be causing this: https://github.com/OneGet/oneget/issues/496
A possible workaround:
Open C:\Program Files\VMware\Imager\Assets\WindowsUpdates.ps1 and change line 5 to:
Install-PackageProvider -Name Nuget -MinimumVersion 2.8.5.208 -Confirm:$false
Run a new build image.
Could you please share where you got the Windows 11 ISO from.
It would be great a the end of the process after the sysprep to make clean Up disk and claim free space
Upon launch I get this error: "Your organization has applied a Group Policy that prevents installation."
If I click help it brings me to an Edge link. It looks like it's trying to install something before this too. Any ideas?
