All,
Hello! I know this is in prod now, but I was curious if anyone could give me some detail on the operation this tool performs:
When the tool performs a 'migration', is it actually doing a storage vMotion, or a proprietary move?

Hi
After successfully starting the XVM.jar, I was able to see and migrate VMs from vCenter Web Client to another vCenter Server.
But facing error no healthy upstream. Restarted vCenter Server but didnt work.
Usually no healthy upstream is about your vCenter is not up. You can check whether any issue with VC. Whether after you initiating migration leading to this issue and VC is getting down? If yes, there could be some issue in product also. Fling itself should not have any issue. Also, this fling is productized in 70u1c, which can be used to import vms from older vCenters also.
Worked Perfectly! I have vCenter 6.7 instances. I added the plugin and used it a couple times from vCenter. It was OK. But I lked the standalone instance better. made quick work of moving my VMs across different server platforms, different networks and different storage.
Since I was moving a number of VMs form one cluster to another on different vCenter instances, the standalone GUI worked quite well remembering my last choices and only having to choose the source VM. Perfect!
Only issue was the unexpected requirement for Enterprise Plus license. I had an available license so it was fine.
Hi All , How would you perform a Feasibility / Compatibility checks between the source and target for cross vcenter migration ? Understand that migrate wizard does this check in vsphere.
Do we have a rest API or power cli [script] to run a feasibility / compatibility check before hand - Cross Vcenter?
